As transport connectivity with ORR in the city is improved, the number of people has increased, who want to move away from the main city and settle in a tranquil environment free of noise. Buyers are reluctant to compromise on facilities even for those homes that are on the outskirts. They are expecting all the facilities which are available in the city centered homes. Most people are showing interest in those areas where they have all the modern amenities.
- Multi-storey structures are coming up on the outer ring road at a distance of 15 km from the metro corridors on all sides. Acquisitions have increased recently.
- Other than the metro, to decrease the traffic in the government suburbs, multi-storey sky bridges are getting planned under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP). Construction of 6 flyovers and underpasses in LB Nagar have been started. All communities are eager to make their living quarters with the development of infrastructure. Large malls are under construction and 6 multiplexes with 36 screens are on the way.
- As the entire development is concentrated in Gachibowli and Miyapur in western Hyderabad, the government says look east. The government is giving directives to increase employment opportunities towards Uppal, Pocharam and Adibatla. This makes the habitat more attractive and many projects have already started in these areas. Staying beside or near to the outer ring road has many positive things such as near to the national highways of Srisailam, Nagarjuna Sagar and Warangal.
- Efforts have been made to improve transportation with the expansion of roads and intersections in Secunderabad’s north Hyderabad area. Construction companies say there is potential for growth on the Kompally route.
- On either side of the outer ring road, independent houses and villas with all modern amenities are coming up. At LB Nagar, Uppal, Secunderabad, Gachibowli, Rajender Nagar and Sagar Ring Road, individual homes and villas are available at prices ranging from Rs. 40 lakhs to 1 crore.
