The Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is a 400 feet (120 meters) tall structure that will be constructed on six acres of land in Narsingi, Hyderabad. The tower will house the temples of Sri Sri Radha Krishna and Sri Venkateswara Swamy. The project is being undertaken by the Hare Krishna Movement (HKM), and the Bhumi Puja ceremony for the monument was held on May 8, 2023. The tower is expected to cost Rs 200 crore, and the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced a donation of Rs 25 crore towards its construction.
The tower is expected to become a major landmark in Hyderabad and a popular tourist attraction. The HKM has stated that the tower will be an iconic monument that will showcase the culture and heritage of the Hare Krishna Movement, and also serve as a center for spiritual learning and education.
The Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is not just a religious structure but will also have commercial facilities like a food court, exhibition halls, a museum, and a convention center. The tower is expected to be completed within three years and will be a tribute to the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita and Lord Krishna. It is also expected to provide employment opportunities for the people of Hyderabad.
